With take home Tray Whitening you can whiten your smile in the comfort of your own home. We will take an impression of your teeth, which is then used to create customised trays. Each night you place a mild bleaching gel into your Whitening tray and place it over your teeth. The trays are worn nightly for two to three weeks. Improvements can be seen in your smile daily; however, best results can be seen after 12 to 14 days. In the long-term top ups will be required to keep your teeth at optimal brightness. This system is effective and can do wonders for your smile.
In surgery power whitening using lights or lasers has been shown to have only limited benefits with increased costs ,and it is now recommended that it is only used in conjunction with a short course of home tray whitening. For this reason, it is not a procedure we actively promote.
